1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, you agree to use InvestNotes under these placeholder terms and any future policies presented in the product. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.
2. Personal research tool
InvestNotes is designed to help you record research notes, organize investment decisions, track portfolio context, and review your own process. InvestNotes is not a broker, investment adviser, fiduciary, tax adviser, legal adviser, or financial planner.
3. No investment advice
Content, analytics, charts, simulations, watchlists, community posts, reminders, price targets, and other product features are provided for informational and organizational purposes only. Nothing in InvestNotes is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, short, or otherwise transact in any security, asset, or strategy.
4. Your decisions and risk
You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions and for evaluating the suitability, risk, timing, tax impact, and consequences of any action you take. Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal. Past performance, backtests, simulations, or example outcomes do not guarantee future results.
5. Data accuracy and delays

If you use public or community features, you understand that other users may view, react to, save, quote, or discuss your published content. Community content reflects the views of its authors and should not be treated as verified advice or data.
8. Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account. Notify InvestNotes if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
9. Service availability
InvestNotes may change, suspend, or discontinue features, data sources, integrations, or availability at any time. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, operational issues, third-party outages, or events outside our control.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, InvestNotes is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. InvestNotes is not responsible for losses arising from investment decisions, reliance on data, service interruptions, user content, or third-party information.
11. Changes to terms
These placeholder terms may be updated or replaced. Continued use of InvestNotes after updated terms are presented means you accept the updated terms.
